An Inclined Shelf is a stainless steel accessory the purpose of which is to fit inside the vacuum chamber and, with the help of gravity, present an incline to help prevent liquid escaping from the vacuum pouch and negating the heat seal and, at worse, damaging the machine. When using liquids in a vacuum packer we always suggest you use this accessory and only half fill the vacuum pouch.
