The VM/12 (pictured showing manual control, with domed lid) has a 250 mm seal width. The pump has a speed of 8 mc/h and provides a final air pressure of 2 mBar. The VM12 can also use external type suction for creation of an embossed vacuum bag outside the chamber. Additional add-ons include digital commands, double sealing resistance, inert gas and extra sealing beams.
