A simple range of accessories for your tray sealer, including spike rolls, can help with tray sealing performance. A spike roll is an add-on piece with integrated sharp pins that perforate the sealing film before the tray is sealed. The device is very useful when there is a need for "breathable" packing, i.e. the sealing film remains leak proof but allows out any steam or moisture condensation after thermo-sealing the film to the tray.
