The company has an over-riding commitment to supply quality products from reliable sources.  Our company policy is to hold stock of most vacuum packing equipment and consumables advertised on this web for despatch within two working days, with the exception of larger vacuum chamber machines, vacuum packing machines that require customisation and larger vacuum pouch sizes.  Some Sous Vide water baths are kept in stock otherwise they are shipped direct from the factory in Germany .  Other chef's equipment and all tray sealing and food presentation solutions are either shipped on receipt of order by ourselves or by our supply partners or, if not held in stock, within 14 days of order.  From time to time an unforeseen demand will deplete our or our supplier stocks of any particular product and it may take up to 28 business days for us replenish products that are not in stock in which case they will be placed into backorders.  If a longer time period is required we will notify you by email and you may choose to cancel your order or wait as you prefer.

Orders received by 12:00 hours and in stock are normally despatched the same day unless placed into backorders due to stock shortages (see above) in which case we will advise you of an estimated date of despatch within two working days.  If you require a later delivery date than next day, please call us by phone on 01858 464411.

Standard Postage & Packing Charges

Due to the diverse nature of our product portfolio we ship all consignments based on either the total weight of your order or equivalent volumetric measurement (height x width x length in millimetres divided by 4500), whichever is the greater, based on all the items added to your shopping basket.  Typically your shipment can weigh between less than 100 grams right up to 200 kilograms or more.  You will find our P&P charges are added to your order after you have registered and/or logged into the web site.

Whilst we do accept web orders from outside the United Kingdom and will ship to all destinations worldwide such shipping is outside of our web site terms and conditions and therefore subject to a separate quotation and a secured payment for increased carriage costs.

For all UK Mail consignments you may track your delivery at www.ukmail.biz by entering your consignment note number which is available from your user login history within 24 hours of despatch. 

Goods shipped directly to you by our supply partners can be sent by other carriers such as TNT, DPD Schenker or UPS.

VAT  

VAT is added separately at 20% on all goods and services, including P&P charges.  We are aware that domestic customers do have concerns about P&P and VAT being added retrospectively.  However, this web site is primarily for the use of trade customers and it is therefore our preference to add P&P at the end of the order and then add the VAT on top. 

Own Collection

Should you wish to travel to our offices to collect goods, free of delivery charge, then you are welcome to do so in return for either cash payment, or in advance by BACS settlement or cleared cheque.  We are normally available between 08:30 and 17:00 to welcome you but it is best to ring beforehand to ensure staff are available to deal with your requests.  We are also happy to take telephone orders for delivery but we are unable to take credit card payments at our premises for goods that are to be collected.  We do not hide behind PO Box addresses and are certainly willing to talk to you over the telephone at any time
